Montgomery Events Asia – Sales Intern

We are looking for a sales intern to join our team as we prepare for the 3rd edition of our 2 trade shows - Speciality & Fine Food Asia and Restaurant, Pub & Bar Asia!

This position provides the intern with the hands-on experience and exposure to the fast-paced and dynamic exhibition industry, and offers a sneak peek into the world of fine food and drink. The person will support the Sales Team in the following areas:

• Building of exhibitor database through areas such as competitor shows and relevant events
• Searching for new exhibitors by cold calling to potential customers and making appointment for sales team
• Onsite sales support during show days on 17 – 19 July 2019
• Administrative support for Sales Team including processing of contracts and updating of exhibitors’ information accurately in the system, pulling out of reports through system, etc.
• Liaising with exhibitors on any outstanding items
• Other general duties as required

Requirements 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Positive attitude and with a strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy working independently as well as a team
