Singapore based startup Missionready recently soft-launched their new take on the popular health & fitness app category. Despite offering relatively little in terms of results and personalization, the health & fitness app category has been one of the major successes of the app stores since their inception.
The Missionready app focuses on health optimisation through the use of A.I. and user's health data (collected from smart phones, wearables and other health&fitness applications). New users get an instant A.I. powered analysis on their overall health, and recommendations on how to improve their health & fitness with easy steps. Furthermore, the A.I. trainer will create personalized workout programs with inbuilt progress for the user that match their starting level, goal, physical response to previous workouts and recovery status.

iOS Developer Intern
Responsibilities
We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic developer intern, to join us for the big launch of the version 2 of our app. It’s going to be a unique opportunity and a heck of a journey. Here’s what’s in store:
- Learn ins & outs of our pre-launch iOS app built on Swift for iPhone and Apple Watch
- Support team in the final testing, preparation and execution of our Version 2 launch
- Ongoing maintenance and upgrades of the app, working closely with the CEO
- Development of new features
- Creative thinking and ideation for future versions, incl. motion tracking and artificial intelligence
We will not limit what you get out of your internship. We hope you will explore beyond your job scopes into areas you are interested in.

Requirements

- Genuine personal interest in health & fitness
- Able to pick up new skills quickly and is comfortable in an unstructured environment
- Strong understanding of iOS app development process from development to testing to launch and maintenance of apps
- Experience in Swift for iPhone development is compulsory
- Experience in Apple Watch development will be preferential
- Experience with Heroku and Firebase frameworks will be preferential
- Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop/Sketch will be a plus
- Knowledge of Android app development will be a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks will be a plus
