Mirum Agency (XM Asia Pacific Pte Ltd) – Design Intern, The Social Team

Overall Job Purpose:

As an intern you will work directly with the Director and Social Media Content Manager to develope your knowledge of communications and graphic design as it relates to brand marketing and social media, while gaining exposure to strategic marketing, brand development, strengthening your creative thinking, design and communication skills. Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects and assignments throughout the course of their internship, in line with their educational goals and career interests.

Key Duties: 

• Hands-on experience in the entire social strategy including planning, content creation, community management and data analysis
• Executing social media content for monthly social calendar that consist of photo/video shoots, GIFs, photoshop work
• Working with the Director and Social Media Content Manager to develop digital campaigns for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Assist the department staff with other special projects (e.g Influencer Management)

Requirements:

• Enrollment in an accredited design program with direct focus in Graphic Design, Fine Art and other related majors
• Design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Ability to create GIFs are highly valued but not required
• Working knowledge of photography (DSLR experience) is a plus
• Able to prioritise, multitask, and take initiative to solve problems and meet deadlines in a high-intensity setting
• Strong attention to detail, and an eye for design and layout
• Fresh graduates are welcomed
