Mikomiko Pte. Ltd. – AI Full Stack Developer (Backend)

We’re seeking talented Backend Engineers with strong engineering and system design skills to join our core team.

You will be responsible for architecting, building, and optimizing backend systems, ensuring KokoroLab’s AI services are scalable, secure, and performant.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architectures;
• Build and maintain robust API services (REST / GraphQL);
• Implement efficient business logic, database schema, and caching layers;
• Optimize database queries and backend performance;
• Collaborate closely with frontend and ML teams to deliver stable system integrations;
• Ensure backend systems meet standards of security, scalability, and reliability;
• Contribute to DevOps, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;
• Strong proficiency in Node.js / Python / Go (at least one required);
• Experience in RESTful and/or GraphQL API development;
• Familiar with databases and caching systems (MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL);
• Understanding of containerization and cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP);
• Good awareness of system architecture, scalability, and security principles;
• Strong ownership and clean, maintainable coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-concurrency or distributed systems;
• Familiarity with microservices and message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ);
• Background in AI inference service deployment or model serving;
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD workflows;
• Contributions to open-source projects or public engineering portfolios

Duration and Application: This internship accepts anyone who can be with us for more than 3 months.
