Experiences created by the artists we represent have been shown at high-level forums led by the UN in Singapore, Bangkok and Kyoto. Our content creation, distribution and consultancy services help to fund the artist incubation and research activities of The MeshMinds Foundation.

Job Description

As a Junior Creative Technologist, you'll draw on your technical, communication and organisational skills to help customers get the most value from the services offered by MeshMinds. You will own all aspects of the MeshMinds customer journey, from the first meeting through to ensuring the timely execution of all deliverables.
You'll develop relationships with business executives from companies and organisations such as UN Environment, Facebook, Apple, Singapore Tourism Board to understand their business requirements and goals. You will be challenged to build lasting, scalable solutions that integrate with legacy systems and take AR/VR delivery from the realm of serious pilots and production implementations. You will learn to redefine the way the world experiences real-time data and visualizations.

Junior Creative Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive and immersive AR/VR experiences for a range of multinational companies and organisations
  • Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
  • Address all product and service-related queries on time
  • Train customers to use products effectively
  • Analyze customers’ feedback and needs to suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements and develop potential new products
  • Report on product performance and establish best practices
  • Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to imagine, build, and launch successful client solutions
  • Identify and proactively manage technical and business decisions, risks, actions and opportunities
  • Create technical documentation and ideate around different technical approaches, being able to address challenges such as strategic design thinking
  • Manage social media channels
  • Report directly to and support the Chief Creative Technologist

You will be contributing to ongoing design, social and UI/UX tasks on our websites, projects and prototypes. You will possess and rapidly acquire the skill set to execute tasks with ingenious creativity. Many different tasks will come across your desk and you will work both with clients and internal tasks and so this role requires the individual to leverage craftsmanship and creative, original thinking.

You will be based in Singapore and working for a dynamic team with artists, technologists and project managers. As an early member of the Singapore team, you’ll have regular exposure to new and existing clients and work collaboratively with the broader team. You will have the ability to actively contribute to the development of the technological culture of the agency through a passionate and sharing-oriented approach.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in interactive media, design communication, animation, 3D design or a related field is generally required for this position. Applicants should be strategic thinkers with amiable personalities, positive outlooks, and expert communication skills. Organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also beneficial.
