Merry Media is the digital media and videography division of Merry Bees Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based integrated events and creative agency incorporated in 2013. With over 1,000 videos produced in less than five years and a track record spanning corporate productions, government campaigns, and large-scale event coverage, we bring professional expertise and creative storytelling to every project.

Audio Engineering Intern (Live Sound, Music & Events)

Location: Atrix Building #06-06 (2 mins walk from Aljunied MRT)
Commitment: 40 hours/week (including weekends for live events)

What You’ll Be Doing

● Assist in live sound setup, stage patching, and soundchecks across a wide range of events — from weddings and corporate functions to concerts and brand showcases.
● Operate and manage professional mixing consoles including Yamaha and MIDAS systems, alongside other industry-standard gear.
● Work closely with our musicians, emcees, and production team to ensure flawless event execution.
● Learn signal flow, monitor mixing, microphone techniques, and PA system tuning under the guidance of experienced sound engineers.
● Be immersed in the fast-paced world of live events — where every show is unique, every setup is different, and every day brings new challenges and growth.

Shure & Sennheiser microphone systems 
Professional PA systems and monitor setups 
 Audio interfaces, stage boxes, and playback systems used in professional touring environments

 What We’re Looking For

● Students from Republic Polytechnic’s School of Media Production and Design (or related audio/technical courses).
● Passion for live sound, music production, and events.
● Basic knowledge of signal flow, mixing, and stage setup (bonus if you’ve mixed in school performances or gigs!).
● Proactive, hands-on, and ready to work fl exible hours, including evenings and weekends.
● A team player with an ear for detail and a drive to learn from every show.
