Job Description

Brief Description:This position is responsible for supporting the Community Outreach & Partnerships Team Manager in the planning, execution, coordination and evaluation of all community outreach events for the organisation. The intern will also support in stakeholder engagement and volunteer management and programme planning and evaluation of all events organised by the Community Outreach & Partnerships team and Events Manager in their operational needs.


Roles and Responsibilities:1) Recruit, outreach and engage suitable stakeholders and recognise volunteers.2) Create training curriculum to orientate, train and guide stakeholders in their work3) Organise and implement community outreach events for organisations’ holistic business development4) ConceptualisE and implement programmes to expand community outreach efforts5) Actively seek out community outreach platforms to reach out to new customers6) Enhance customer relationship management systems/ volunteer databases

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:1) To be able to synthesise data for analysis and decision making2) Learn soft skills such as communications and presentation and negotiation3) Enhance design communications skills4) Gain knowledge in events planning management skills to learn how different domains operate independently whist synergistically5) To be able to multitask well supporting multiple ongoing projects

Duration of Internship:5 months

Daily Working Hours:9.30am - 6.30pm

Work Days:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification:Professional Certificate / NiTEC
