An opportunity is now available for a career-minded individual to join us in MSC South East Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as Executive, Logistics (Temp) under a 3-month contract.
You will embark on a great journey with excellent career development opportunities in a global organization. As Executive, Logistics (Temp), you are responsible for managing all import demurrage processes within the MSC Singapore agency. This includes monitoring and collecting demurrage charges, issuing accurate invoices, and ensuring daily records are complete. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse operational stakeholders across different cultural and geographical contexts, enabling you to build a strong professional network.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be handling import demurrage, responding to customer enquiries, and managing invoicing. Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitor & collection of import demurrage charges from consignee and issue import demurrage invoices to be paid at MSC Office.
- Answer consignee / hauler / Port of loading query on demurrage / return yard
- Check on accuracy & completeness of import demurrage collection (daily basis) & resolve any disputes /or outstanding collection with depot / consignee / hauler
- Issue of credit note for refunds of containers with additional free days granted and discount given.
- Sending mail to consignee to alert detention for sale/off hire unit.
- Ensure all E-payments are received at MSC office before container is accepted at depot.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum Diploma, preferably in the field of Maritime or Logistic & Supply Chain;
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience;
- Container Management knowledge;
- Experience from container shipping industry highly preferred.
