Maths Accelerator Centre – Maths Tutor (Part-time)

We are looking for dynamic and suitably qualified teachers who are committed and passionate about teaching to join our fledging team.

Requirement

• Strong interest in teaching maths
• Passionate about helping students in learning
• Good communication and time management skills
• Able to commit to at least 6 months period
• Able to demonstrate effective pedagogy and student engagement
• Preferably NIE Trained, OR Have relevant University degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience teaching in enrichment centres or MOE schoolls

Working Hours

Weekdays - 4pm to 9pm

Weekend - 9am to 6pm

Depending on the classes allocated, the above serve as a guide for the working hours expected.

(must be able to work at least Sat or Sun)

Candidate must be able to teach 2 or more of the following subjects

• Mid Primary Math (P3/P4)
• Upper Primary Math (P5/P6)
• Lower Secondary Maths (Sec 1/Sec 2)
• O-Level E-Maths
• O-Level A-Maths

Responsibilities

• Prepare for lesson before class
• Deliver engaging lesson during class
• Mark, return and provide feedback on all assignment and worksheets
• Monitor and track progress of students
• Provide regular feedback to parents on students’ learning progress
