We are looking for passionate strings teacher who is an advocate of music pedagogy. A Teacher who is positive, teachable and selfless. A team player who is able to work amicably with fellow colleagues in the school. A person who has strong work ethics and is professional in handling matters.

Responsibilities

• Able to teach the violin to young beginners to Diploma level
• Create a positive, stimulating and innovative environment for learning. Maintain a well-organised studio with appropriate displays, resource areas and materials.
• Plan and Submit teaching curriculum
• Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
• Hold or assist ensemble and/or master classes
• Hold ad-hoc classes e.g. Holiday Programs
• Follow school policies and practices
• Keep updated records and create progress reports for submission to Principal/Head or Department.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma holder in Music
• Adequate work experience in the field
• Excellent time management
• Good verbal skills
• Technology savvy
• Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
• Punctual
• Honest
