We are looking for Business Analyst Intern to join our team delivering sophisticated analytics projects. You should be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and working with data specialists in an international setting
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct interviews and workshops with senior stakeholders of our clients
- Define, structure and solve highly complex business problems under the guidance of lead business consultants
- Translate business problems into requirements for data scientists, and translate data science insights into business implications
- Interact with data scientists and data engineers who use statistical modelling and optimization techniques to support you in solving the problems
- For less complex data, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis independently, including obtaining the data, cleaning it and exploring it for accuracy
- Provide research on business topics – especially in Pharmaceuticals
- Evaluate business recommendations and scenarios through financial modelling (ROI, IRR, payback)
- Manage delivery of analytical solutions via written and verbal presentations to senior executives
To succeed in this role, you should fulfill the following requirements:
- Currently in the last 2 years of, or recently graduated from university studies pursuing a degree in any discipline
- An interest in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (hands-on experience is a bonus but not required)
- Some experience/skills in making compelling charts and storytelling
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with small or large datasets (e.g. excel, databases)
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge or experience in life sciences or pharmaceuticals preferred but not required
- Able to start soon/immediately full-time as an intern from September to December 2020
