Job Description

The role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, self-directed, data-driven with the ability to develop and execute a variety of campaigns to efficiently and effectively support major news announcements, events, and affiliate marketing.

You will be responsible for driving growth through a variety of digital platforms with a focus on optimizing acquisition metrics such as cost per acquisition (CPA), and ROI by channel and media campaign. In this role you'll drive the online marketing strategy while executing and optimizing key channels including paid search, PLAs, display, paid social and affiliate marketing.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Build and manage a rich, integrated content calendar (social channels, website, etc) to attract and convert key target audience to our website
  • Ensure all websites and social media channels are maintained and up to date with current product info/ photos, specials, links, events, offers, resources.
  • Craft compelling copy and messages across various marketing channels (collateral, presentations, landing pages, ad campaigns, upsells, email campaigns)
  • Build and manage community engagement to ensure all social comments, messages are responded to in a timely manner
  • Manage and respond to product and brand queries
  • Create campaigns for marketing campaigns, offers, websites, etc.
  • Drive new customer acquisition through paid media channels, including Search, Paid Social, Display, and Affiliates, constantly analyzing and managing to cost per acquired customer (CAC) and volume goals

SEO & WEB ANALYTICS

  • Continuously measure and analyze web traffic trends
  • Research and Identify new keywords and opportunities for growth in organic search
  • Tracking of website metrics like load speed, time on site, engagement, and make thoughtful recommendations on how we can improve user experience on the platform
  • Oversee direct response programs including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliate and ensure maximum optimization of every page, post and product listing on our website
  • Analyse data and consumer insights to improve campaigns performance and meet business KPIs.

MANAGE PRODUCT LISTING & PROMOTIONS

  • Manage and liaise with merchants on brand content and check product listing, proofread, edit before they go live
  • Manage product listing, product promotions, price changes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experienced in digital marketing and content development
  • Experienced with social media platforms and analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills.
  • Experienced in managing and forecasting budgets and performance across marketing channels
  • Effective strategic thinking—able to find and prioritize opportunities to increase revenue from marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent execution skills—able to create effective copy and campaigns that drive results.
  • Strong interest and aptitude in technology, augmented reality and artificial intelligence
  • Stay up to date with marketing best practices and implementation.
  • A good sense of aesthetics (basic UX knowledge) and an eye for great copy.
  • Knowledge about paid marketing campaigns and PPC.
  • Knowledgeable and active in a range of current social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc)
  • Knowledge and Experience with photography and image/video editing software, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or Figma and apps for social media, and experience in content creation, is a plus
  • Independent worker who can work in a fast paced environment and able to deliver within tight timeline
