Lokoro – Intern, Venture Development and Marketing

LOKORO is a profit-for-purpose enterprise with a mission to help build thriving communities from the bottom-up by increasing local economic opportunities and social support with the help of technology.  We leverage location-based technology and conversational commerce to facilitate interactions among neighbours to generate local jobs, commerce and social interaction.

We are currently looking for an intern who can support the management team in finalizing the app design and features, conducting research of the market, preparing investor pitches and developing the market plan in the next 2 - 3 months. You will be working with a team of seasoned professionals from consulting, research and technology sectors.

We are ideally looking for an ambidextrous thinking who is creative but also organized and good with data. He or she is probably an undergrad / fresh grad who is passionate about social causes, enjoys writing (with a good creative / artistic eye) and is savvy with social media. He or she should ideally also be quite self-driven, organized and entrepreneurial.
