Job Description

Title - Growth and Operations Intern

Commitment - Part time/Full time internship (hybrid work arrangements)

Duration - Flexible (8 week minimum) with the opportunity to convert to a part-time internship during the school term

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial individual looking to experience the 0 to 1 journey in business building and support key growth initiatives at Logiscool (Hougang). This role combines elements of business development, program innovation, sales and operations. You will work directly with the unit's franchisee to pilot new revenue streams, strengthen parent engagement and improve student retention.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development
    • Identify and pilot new revenue generating opportunities beyond our core coding classes
    • Support outreach to potential partners to grow the existing business (e.g. student care centres, tech collaborators etc.)
    • Assist in follow-up with leads
  2. Student Retention and Parent Engagement
    • Co-create and execute student retention initiatives (e.g. "Bring Your Parents to Class" and "Bring Your Friend to Class" events)
    • Collect and synthesise parent and student feedback to inform improvements in communication and design experience
  3. Operations (as needed)
    • Assist in teaching classes where required or necessary
    • Help with event set up, logistics and content preparation

 

Who We Are Looking For

  • Interest in private education industry and want to gain first-hand experience on how to kickstart a business in the space
  • Entrepreneurial individual looking for a 0 to 1 business building experience
  • Self start with a bias for action and experimentation
  • Not afraid to fail
  • Experience or knowledge in performance marketing is a plus
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus
  • Experience in Scratch and Python is a plus
