Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our funds research work and robo-advisory rebalancing. The successful candidate will assist in reviewing our fund peer universe, running and maintaining model portfolios, and supporting the due diligence process through minute-taking and report writing. This role offers hands-on experience in investment analytics, portfolio construction, and manager research within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Universe Review

  • Conduct ongoing reviews of fund peers across asset classes.
  • Screen, compare, and analyze funds using performance, risk, and qualitative metrics.
  • Prepare summaries and recommendations for the investment team.

Model Portfolio Management

  • Run and update model portfolios for the robo-advisory platform.
  • Assist in implementing portfolio changes and monitoring performance.
  • Support testing and validation of allocation models and assumptions

Due Diligence Support

  • Attend manager and product due diligence meetings.
  • Take clear, structured notes and prepare minutes.
  • Draft due diligence reports and assist with documentation and follow-up actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Basic understanding of investment products, mutual funds, ETFs, and portfolio construction.
  • Interest in quantitative investing, fintech, or robo-advisory platforms.
  • Experience with data analysis or programming (Python, R, or SQL) is advantageous.
