Leica Camera has been in the frontline of photojournalism and related activities be it the Oskar Barnack Award for high quality reportage photography, presenting photographs taken by international photographers through the Leica Galerie or Leica Akademie workshops that offer access to life’s hidden stories. Role and responsibilities include day-to-day marketing & PR related duties:
- Event planning and implementation
- Liaison and prompt follow-up with partners and vendors
- Logistics, loans, inventory and CRM management
- Retail marketing
- Generating monthly event, retail marketing and PR reports
- Design and artwork production for advertising and promotional needs; basic photo-editing
- On-the-job photography opportunities and photo asset management
- Administrative support and ad-hoc duties
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma undergraduate, graduate and/or marketing, business, communications and art-related programme(s)
- Desire to pursue a career in Marketing Branding
- Strong time management skills, detail-oriented, highly disciplined, conscientious and a proactive self-starter is key to excel in this role
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator preferred, not a must
- Good command of oral and written English
- Keen interest in and/or understanding of photography and luxury brands is a plus
The internship position is open from December 2019 and strictly based on a minimum 3 to 6 months contractual period; extension of contract subject to performance. Ability to start immediately or on short notice is an advantage.
