Job Description

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing general technical support and administrative assistance for the organization's internal systems and infrastructure. The candidate will ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of the company's software, hardware, and network resources. the role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, implementing system upgrades, maintaining user accounts. Additionally, there will collaboration with other IT professionals and departments to support technology-related projects and initiatives such as automation and simplication of tasks for end users. 

Job Description

System Administration:

1. Manage and maintain the organization's internal systems, including servers (on-prem/Cloud), databases, operating systems, applications, PABX/VOIP, Output Management and Mobile Devices.

2. Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components, ensuring compatibility and adherence to security standards.

3. Monitor system performance, conduct routine audits, and implement proactive measures to optimize system efficiency.

4. Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity and availability.

Technical Support:

1. Provide technical assistance to employees experiencing software, hardware, or network-related issues, both in-person and remotely.

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

3. Respond promptly to support requests, escalate complex issues as needed, and ensure timely resolution of problems.

4. Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides, to assist employees with common technical issues.

User Account Management:

1. Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications.

2. Monitor user activity, address security concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

3. Conduct user training sessions to promote awareness and efficient use of internal systems and tools.

System Upgrades and Maintenance:

1. Coordinate and implement system upgrades, patches, and updates in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.

2. Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as performance tuning, security hardening, and capacity planning.

3. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance system performance and security.

Collaboration and Project Support:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors, to support technology-related projects, initiatives and solutions in general.

2. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new software, hardware, and technology solutions.

3. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with governance and compliance (PDPA, ERM, etc).

4. To be part of the overall company’s Digital Transformation Journey.

 

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science with 2 to 3 years of working experiences.

2. Able to work independently and as a team
