Learning Point is looking for a responsible and organised Resource & IT Support Intern to support our daily centre operations, curriculum preparation, resource management, and basic IT needs.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working in a school or education environment, is comfortable with technology, and is able to manage tasks carefully and systematically.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resource Tracking and Management
Assist in the tracking, allocation, and maintenance of centre resources, including:
- IT assets such as iPads, laptops, projectors, and other devices
- Classroom materials such as Preschool Readers, RFS booklets, stickers, stationery, writing pads, ring files, paper towels, disinfectant spray, hand sanitiser, sweets, and other teaching materials
- Library resources, including inputting new books, removing old or damaged books, and ensuring books are properly accounted for
2. Curriculum and Classroom Support
Support the curriculum and teaching teams with preparation of lesson materials and classroom resources. Duties include:
- Retrieving curriculum materials from SharePoint
- Formatting worksheets, teaching guides, and classroom materials
- Uploading multimedia files to Google Drive
- Inserting Google Drive links into Teaching Guides
- Preparing teaching aids and classroom resources
- Placing printed worksheets into teachers’ lockers
- Clearing worksheet trays and organising printed materials
- Supporting lesson recording processes, including recording lessons using an iPad, uploading and downloading videos from iCloud, and uploading recordings to SharePoint
3. Cross-Team Support
Work closely with different departments to support daily operations, including:
- Assisting the Customer Service team with corridor duties when required
- Helping to ensure smooth daily centre operations
- Supporting teachers and administrative staff with resource-related requests
4. IT Support
Provide basic first-line IT support to staff and assist with IT-related tasks, including:
- Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues
- Supporting staff with the use of laptops, iPads, projectors, printers, and other devices
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control under supervision
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up and decommissioning IT equipment and user accounts
Requirements
- Responsible, organised, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new systems
- Basic familiarity with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and iPads/laptops
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in an education environment
- Prior IT or administrative experience is helpful but not required
