Job Description

The product marketing intern will play a crucial role in supporting our team in crafting marketing communications, planning and executing campaigns, and driving community building efforts. We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who can help us grow Lapis’ brand presence, engage our community and enhance our marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing content and product communications for Lapis.
  • Help develop and coordinate marketing campaigns on platforms such as Linkedin, X/Twitter, Instagram and others.
  • Conduct digital and social media marketing research and perform routine marketing functions, such as search engine optimisation, copywriting, and marketing analytics.
  • Help conceptualise and drive activities and initiatives to achieve the company’s aims in relation to community development, including but not limited to digital/live events and prospecting potential product partnerships and opportunities.

Competencies required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (prior experience with copywriting is a plus).
  • Sensitivity to user/audience needs and desires, empathy, and an ability to translate this into effective messaging.
  • Experience with managing and planning content for social media channels and platforms, with higher priority placed on Linkedin, X/Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and performance analytics (e.g. Google Analytics).
