Kobe Global Technologies Pte Ltd – Full Stack Javascript Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack Javascript Developer responsible for enhancing our current platform. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the back-end.

Responsibilities

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

Implementation of security and data protection

Integration of data storage solutions e.g mongoDB, redis, MySQL

Refactor current NodeJS module to make them reusable and easier to maintain

Skills And Qualifications

Strong proficiency with JavaScript

Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it. We are using Sails which is powered by express web framework

Experience with RESTful API design and development

Experience in front-end framework like VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

Experience maintaining clean codebases and high code coverage

Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Habit of maintaining documentation for source code and project requirements

Good to have

Experience with Docker technology and microservices architecture

Experience with AWS and server deployment

Experience with GraphQL / gRPC

Comfortable with the Unix / Linux / OS X environment and cli tooling such as npm, yarn, brew

Documentation with Swagger

CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins
