Role Overview
We’re looking for Community AI Tutoring Interns—energetic, empathetic individuals who can engage children, parents, and educators. This role blends facilitation, light technical know-how, and a lot of heart. You’ll help ensure our AI Tutor isn’t just a tool, but a companion in a child’s learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate group and one-on-one mentoring sessions using the KiteSense AI Tutor.
- Motivate and guide children in exploring lessons, building confidence and curiosity.
- Support parents, teachers, and community organisers in adopting the AI Tutor.
- Create simple activity guides, FAQs, and family-friendly tips.
- Collect feedback and stories from the field to improve our programme.
- Participate in outreach events or workshops introducing the AI Tutor to new communities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Education, Data Science, Learning Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Outgoing and comfortable engaging with children, parents, and educators.
- Passionate about education and curious about how AI can support learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and empathy.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive in completing tasks.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or leading youth/community activities.
- Familiarity with AI, adaptive learning platforms, or learning analytics.
- Familiarity with educational technology or learning platforms.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, or Mandarin for regional engagement.
