What You Will Learn
Successful recruits will work on multiple projects with Production Designer and get to learn hands-on experience on a wide spectrum of production and visual marketing designs across international markets in the travel industry:
Visual Design - Understanding brand identity, competitive landscape to create differentiated positioning yet consistent with brand voice to elevate visual aesthetics in bold new directions.
Production Design - Understand industry production design process and specifications
Print and Digital - Print collaterals, pitch materials, email, social, paid digital advertisements, web and mobile.
Responsibilities
· Key performer on a dynamic and fast moving marketing team responsible for designing and executing marketing collateral for many international markets.
· Execute campaigns across online and offline channels.
· Seamlessly integrating our brand identity and voice into content while elevating our visual aesthetics in our marketing communications
· Keep track of competitive landscape and understand their key messages to develop differentiated positioning.
· Empathize with our target audience and articulate rationale behind design decisions
· Understand and apply creative versus analytical design goals across all channels
Requirements
· Polytechnic or Degree students in the fields of Visual Communication, Design Communication, Graphic Design or other design-related studies.
· Holds a valid Singapore student pass, Work Holiday pass or a local here in Singapore.
· Versatile visual designer comfortable developing marketing assets across web, email, digital marketing banners, presentations.
· Versed in design fundamentals with a grasp of color, type, hierarchy, balance and typography.
· Versed in industry design and production tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
· Knowledge in HTML and Flash would be a plus.
· Strong copywriter with the ability to understand and articulate key messages clearly and concisely in our brand voice.
· Strong bilingual language command (English and Chinese).
· Great at multi-tasking and able to handle many projects in parallel.
· Team player that can both incorporate feedback and take initiative to lead creative direction of marketing campaigns.
· Ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
· An eye for detail, executing pixel-perfect production assets and meticulously crafted copy.
· Ability to empathize with our target audience and articulate rationale behind design decisions
· Ability to discuss and trade-off creative versus analytical design goals across all channels (banners, landing pages & email marketing, etc.)
