Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all technology operations, including network security and evaluate them according to established goals
  • Liaising with other departments and analyse and address their technology needs and requirements, including training sessions.
  • Identify technology needs and make recommendations
  • Develop, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives including documentation and training.
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
  • Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement including adherence to government regulations.
  • Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain, upgrade and acquire efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software and ensure its functionality and efficiency
  • Preparing and control financial budgets and performance reports.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors, and creating cost-efficient contracts.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a similar position.
  • Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to travel to different centres
