BUSINESS DEVELOPMEN INTERN

Jotro International Pte Ltd (Jotro), a spin-off from Speedgrow International Pte Ltd, which has been in business since 1993, work closely with businesses in (1) strategic sourcing and procurement - developing and achieving a long term steady supply of goods or services with an advantage over competitors; (2) tactical sourcing and purchasing – obtaining goods or services within an urgent time frame at the lowest cost; and (3) logistics solutions – arranging delivery at its quickest and smoothest transit globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • identify opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients
  • manage the sales process to close new business opportunities
  • assist in market & industry research
  • assist in maintaining, updating & translating sales materials
  • assist in the collection and analysing brand and product information

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • at least 1 year experience within a B2B sales/ account management role, ideally within the procurement industry
  • startup experience would be a strong advantage
  • be business-minded and passionate about sales
  • proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • proficiency in MS Office applications
  • positive attitude with willingness to learn
  • ability to work independently in fast-paced office environment
  • minimum 6 months of internship, full or part-time possible
