Johann Strings Violin – Sales & Workshop Associate

• Opening of the shop and preparing the premises for customers; Closing of the shop and leaving the place clean and tidy; managing shop in owner’s absence
• Assist customers to choose the right instruments
• Taking in and processing customer repair requests
• Servicing of violin family instruments; setting up violin, viola and cello; bridge cutting; post cutting etc.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of customers and suppliers, in person and by telephone
• Assist in conducting stock take when needed
• Pleasant attitude, responsible, well focused and self-motivated
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
• Committing on weekends (Saturdays or Sundays) will be a must
• Able to play the violin will be an advantage but not necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Singapore Citizen or P.R.
• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in any field
• Required language(s): English, Chinese (to liaise with Chinese customers)
• No relevant work experience required but entry level specialized in Retail Sales preferred
• Customer Service skills
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of customers and suppliers, in person and by telephone
