Jobs Network LLP – Events Operation Assistant

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Operations Assistant to support the end-to-end planning and execution of a wide range of events including conferences, corporate functions, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

• Coordinate event logistics, including catering, entertainment, transportation, signage, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related services
• Select and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers to provide necessary services for events
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services
• Conduct cost analysis and financial evaluations to optimise spending and achieve cost savings where possible
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials
• Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement

• Ensure events comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including permits, licenses, and safety standards
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative roles is an advantage – but fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are welcome!
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to multitask and perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management software is a plus.
