Jamm Technologies is a Singaporean AI/ML startup developing the first data platform to empower drivers to unlock rewards for safe-driving (B2C). Jamm—a dual-facing dash camera—leverages AI-based computer vision to study anonymized patterns of eye-gaze in realtime. The data, in turn, unlocks personalized car insurance with discounts (20-40%) underpinned by improved driver safety. As the platform scales , we unlock smart city applications for enhanced mapping services such as detecting accidents for rapid response. We’re looking for a Machine Learning Intern to join us in our mission.
The Role
Candidates will help A). develop eye-gaze estimation algorithms robust to variance over driving positions and vehicle types B). launch the software/hardware into production with manual calibration and deployment. A successful candidate will have a high degree autonomy in guiding her/his own technical strategy and implementation and will work closely with Head of AI in full communication.
Tech Skills:
+1 year of AI/ML experience with focus on either robotics, IOT, computer vision or related.
Background in computer science or related.
Experience training/testing machine learning algorithms.
English speaking & ability to work well with others (open, transparent, and collaborative).
Openness to develop new experiences in artificial intelligence/machine learning projects.
Benefits:
$800-1,500 (SGD) depending on skill-level.
Experience on a cutting edge ML/AI/IOT project.
