Jacobson Global Logistics (S) Pte Ltd – Sales Support Executive (Logistics)

Job Summary: 

The Sales Support Executive is responsible for identifying customers’ needs, developing proposals, processing shipment orders and delivery to customers. He/She is also responsible for managing customers and coordinating with colleagues.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Air & Sea Import/Export shipping matters according to customers' requirements.
• Work closely with overseas offices/ agents/ various carriers and vendors to support timely receipt and delivery of shipments.
• Respond timely to customers’ enquiries.
• Provide quotation to customers and overseas agents.
• Source and gather costs from overseas agents / vendors / shipping lines / airlines for sales colleagues.
• Provide shipment instructions to operations colleagues.
• Verify costs given by agents / vendors for operations colleagues to take in costs for jobs.
• Check on billings before sending to customers / agents.
• Follow up with customers for pending SOA.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Preferably with knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Resourceful and analytical to provide solutions to meet customers’ needs.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
