Job Description
  • Responsibilities 
  • Support ID Administration and User Access Management (UAM) activities in accordance with defined processes and procedures. 
  • Perform user account creation, modification, enablement, disablement, and deletion based on approved service requests. 
  • Support Active Directory (AD) account administration, including user accounts and relevant access groups. 
  • Perform application access provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning based on approved access requests. 
  • Support Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) activities to ensure appropriate access is provisioned, modified, or removed according to user lifecycle requirements. 
  • Process requests for the addition or removal of users from security or application access groups, where applicable. 
  • Support password reset, account unlock, account activation, and account-related requests within the defined ID Administration scope. 
  • Verify that required approvals and supporting information are available before processing access requests. 
  • Update and maintain accurate records of access requests and ID Administration activities in the relevant service management or tracking system. 
  • Assist with User Access Management reviews and access validation exercises, where required. 
  • Support the timely revocation of user and application access for leavers or users who no longer require access. 
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security requirements, access control policies, and client-specific procedures when processing requests. 
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence for completed access administration activities. 
  • Monitor assigned requests and ensure they are processed within the applicable service levels and operational timelines 
  • Identify incomplete, incorrect, or unauthorised requests and route them for clarification or approval as required. 
  • Escalate access-related issues, exceptions, or requests outside the defined scope to the appropriate support team. 
  • Work closely with service desk, application, infrastructure, security, and other support teams to resolve ID Administration-related requests. 
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of user, system, and access information handled as part of day-to-day activities. 
  • Support other ID Administration, UAM, operational, and project activities as assigned. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Diploma or Degree programme in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with users and support teams. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. 
  • Strong interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM), ID Administration, User Access Management, cybersecurity, IT service management, or enterprise IT operations. 
  • Basic understanding of user accounts, access permissions, Active Directory, application access, authentication, and information security concepts would be advantageous.
  •  Ability to follow documented procedures and process access requests accurately. 
  • Ability to handle user and access-related information professionally and maintain appropriate confidentiality. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with users, vendors, application teams, security teams, and other IT support functions. 
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and quality work. 
  • Prior internship experience, relevant technical certifications, IAM-related coursework, or hands-on IT projects would be advantageous but are not essential.
  •  Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, processes, and access management practices in an enterprise IT environment.
