Job Description

The Manpower Management Assistant will assist the Manpower team in the management of all aspects of manpower (volunteer) management for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2023 and other events.

The scope includes:

  • Development and implementation of recruitment plan
  • Plan and manage training and briefing
  • Preparing of training and briefing materials
  • Development and implementation of operations plans such as transportation, deployment, meals & welfare, logistics requirement, reporting and stand-down process
  • Preparing all administration documents
  • Planning and managing associated logistics
  • Development and implementation of communication and information plan
  • Managing the volunteer hotline and email enquiries
  • Making recommendations on suppliers
  • Development and training of event volunteers
  • Proper and accurate administration/paperwork to ensure an effective and efficient event delivery 

 In addition to this, the Manpower Management Assistant will: 

  • Be prepared to work extended hours for the deliverables leading to events
  • Be prepared to travel and work on some weekends to deliver events
  • Support in other ad-hoc duties assigned by Manpower Management Team

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Event Management/Human Resource/Community Development or similar area of study
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and within required deadlines
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Adaptable to changing and fast paced work conditions
