Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

To include but not limited to:

Assist in the following:

Operational planning for events including

Development of site and course operations maps/plans

Researching, booking, setup and management of event venues

Development and management of timelines

Assisting in all aspects of event logistics

Development and implementation of traffic management plans

Development and implementation of risk and contingency plans

Implementations of event operations plans


Supplier negotiations

Confirming event requirements

Obtaining quotations and negotiating prices

Managing delivery process 

Staffing

Recruitment of event staff / volunteers

Development of event staff training materials

Training of event staff/volunteers

 

Administration

Proper and accurate administration/paperwork to ensure an effective and efficient event delivery

Timely submission of post-event report
