IoT Tribe Deeptech: A 3-month acceleration programme located in Singapore with 6 month follow on support for ambitious deeptech startups from Europe, Singapore and beyond.

IoT Tribe London Tech Calling: A soft-landing programme for Singapore SMEs and scale-ups to do business in the UK and launch European operations.

Job Description

We are looking for a Programme & Ecosystem Coordinator (Intern) based in Singapore who can support and enhance the value of the startups on our acceleration programmes. You need to be energetic and have a can-do attitude to support our programmes. You will have a varied skill set and are expected to have demonstrated an interest in tech and entrepreneurship, as well as great interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Duties will be varied and match the pace and needs of the programmes we deliver. They may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Scouting and creating a deal flow of relevant tech startups to join our acceleration programmes: reviewing profiles, shortlisting and outreaching to startups
  • Identifying opportunities and new initiatives to support the needs of our corporate partners and startups
  • Preparing proposals and tenders to support our business development
  • Assisting in the development of the acceleration programme curriculum: Shortlisting workshop speakers, mentors and coordinating schedules
  • Planning and organising the logistics for IoT Tribe events
  • Actively participating in the community management and marketing of IoT Tribe
  • Track & reporting progress of startups within the programme
  • Generally providing support to the Head of Programmes & Head of Partnerships

Skills, qualifications and experience required

We are looking for a creative and driven individual who has a track record of turning possibilities into tangible outcomes.

  • Self-motivated: you will report to a Head of Programmes and support a Head of Partnerships, so it’s important you can organise and prioritize your own workload and successfully complete assigned tasks on time in a guided but autonomous way.
  • A team player: you are committed to the company and are able to work in a team
  • An exceptional communicator: you know how to make attractive presentations and marketing collaterals, write proposals or articles that people will be genuinely interested in reading, and have an excellent command of English
  • Digitally literate: you have a thorough basis of computer applications used in the start-up or technology business

You will also be a firm believer that women play a valuable role in technology and, whether you are a man or a woman, strive to make sure that women participate in the programme as founders, mentors, investors and supporters.
