The candidate must be passionate about the fashion industry. Can relate to current fashion trends and have a creative mind to copy write and provide content to build brand awareness and drive sales. Has a working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing. In addition, he/she will also manage and develop the digital content and stories and build up a engaging community.
Overview:
The Marketing Intern (MI), in consultation with the executive team, will streamline the marketing aspects of Indiigo Culture’s overall branding strategy, with a particular focus on digital marketing. MI will also help with market research, marketing analysis, identifying opportunities, and other duties. MI will liaise with our marketing consultant on marketing strategies as well.
1. Digital Marketing
1.1 Organic Social Media
MI to be responsible for updating all social media accounts belonging to Indiigo Culture, namely and in order of priority (i) Instagram, (ii) Facebook, (iii) Twitter, and (iv) Pinterest.
- Ensure consistency in the look and feel of our posts e.g. a consistent filter and retouching
- Posts: 3-4 a week, posts can be product photos, landscape photos, user-generated photos, etc.
- Stories: 2 a day (Monday to Friday)
- Hashtags: Minimally 10 to 15 hashtags per post.
- In addition to regular hashtags, MI to research trending hashtags that are aligned with Indiigo Culture’s products and brand philosophy, and relevant to the mood of the post.
- Approval process: Posts to be uploaded on the Indiigo Tester account 2 weeks ahead of posting. Captions to be approved on a weekly basis.
- Content creation: Photos of products to be provided to MI, inspirational/mood photos to be sourced by MI.
- Interactions:
- Reply to every comment on our posts
- Like other photos on our feed (10/day)
- Comment with substance on other’s posts (At least 1/day)
- Follow relevant accounts
- Post a relevant article (1/week) e.g. on fashion, environment, lifestyle, women empowerment, etc.
- Post/Share other relevant memes, photos, infographics, etc. (1/week)
- Create Facebook events
- Repost content from our Facebook and Instagram
- Retweet relevant tweets (3/week)
- Tweet our events
Paid Advertisement/ Giveaways
MI to create Instagram and Facebook posts that can be used for paid advertising.
MI will also reach out to relevant influencer, work with brand ambassadors, as well as suggest regular giveaways/contests on our social media platforms.
Events
MI to market the events that Indiigo Culture will be participating in and where possible to help out on the actual day itself. MI may also assist Head of Operations with suggesting/applying to relevant events e.g. fairs, markets, tradeshows, pop-ups, etc.
Others
MI to help with retouching photos for the website and posters to ensure consistency across all platforms. MM’s help may be requested for other issues, limited to MM’s availability and time.
MM to be given access to Google Analytics and other relevant data, and will report on updates, data, and trends, every 3 months.
