Indigram Labs Foundation (ILF) is a not-for-profit company operating as an Technology and Business Incubator (TBI) under Government of India's Department of Science and Technology. We have Research and Development  agreements with Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and Central Food Technology Research Institute (CFTRI). We incubate startups in the space of 1. Agriculture and Technology 2. Clean Energy and Rural applications 3. Rural Focused Health and Wellness.

Job Description

The position requires that the person raises CSR funding for ILF, investment purposes in the incubation process. To raise funds through CSR it is imperative that ILF closely work with various research organizations and corporates to promote Agricultural Innovation and showcase the agricultural innovation in India. ILF has already partnered with Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and Central Food Technology Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, Karnataka, India. The overall effort apart from fund raising is also to create a co-platform efforts through alliances and partnerships.

  • Fund-raising from CSR of corporates in India and abroad
  • Partnership platform building for events and innovation display
    • Joint Innovation and Partnership events organization which raises capital
  • Organizing corporate training programs for training and corporate outreach

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Identifying potential partners and internally convince the CEO and the relevant committees of the fit and positives of the partnership including ability to raise funding through the partnership / event / platform creation
  • Presentation of such potential partnerships in regular intervals
  • Conduct negotiation with the potential partners and draw-up a term-sheet for engagement with due internal approvals and legal due-diligence, if necessary
  • Design competent training program(s) and work with an implementation team to take forward the training agenda
  • Design innovatively the partnerships and work to implement the objectives of the partnerships with corporates (MNCs / Indian) / research institutions and agricultural universities
  • Funds to be raised are provided with in KPIs and agree upon to work towards it.

Qualifications

A post-graduate in Developmental Studies / Economics / Agricultural sciences  / Sciences and/or Humanities / Engineering with nearly 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields

Qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated prior experience in related roles is a requisite for consideration
  • Structured Proposal making in written format(s) / excellent presentation skills and communication skills
  • Be a Team Player with sound motivational skills and crisp and clear communicator. Risk taker and communication for making the proposals work must be the focus professionally. Good negotiation skills
