Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide excellent service and create amazing dining experiences for all our dining guests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of service and create amazing dining experiences for our dining guests
  • Prepare the restaurant for service - table settings, top-up of condiments, and other preparatory tasks.
  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner.
  • Be well-versed in the restaurant’s menu.
  • Assist guests with the menu and provide recommendations.
  • Handle food and beverage orders and serve guests.
  • Able to anticipate guests’ needs and preferences and render timely service.
  • Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take appropriate action to correct any issues.
  • Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining.
  • Carry out daily general cleaning duties which include, but are not limited to, Sweeping and mopping of floors, Tidying up of service stations, Trash disposal and Washing and cleaning of serve ware.
  • Organise and ensure dining space is clean and tidy in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Handle all restaurant telephone enquiries and delivery orders.
  • All other administrative duties in the restaurant
  • Any other job-related duties requested from Supervisor/Manager

Requirements:

  • Has some service experience.
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to skillfully multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

Remuneration:

  • Normal days: $8.00 to $10.00 per hour, 
  • Public Holiday is 1.5 rate ($12.00 - $15.00)
  • Working Hours: From 1030h to 2200h (break time from 1500h to 1700h)
  • min. 3 days per week (including one Saturday or Sunday)
