Job Description

We are looking for R&D Chemists (cosmetics division - irenskin.com) with skincare formulation experience and problem-solving skills. You will be working with our senior researchers from A*STAR to design and create a range of new prestige skincare and makeup cosmetic products with evidence-based support for ingredients.

 

  • Coordinate with Singapore and France team to find out about current beauty trends and product requirements
  • Develop skincare of different materials formulations and validate and testing their efficacy
  • Conduct internal product testing with Singapore and France team and external testing with customers
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis of benchmark products
  • Pick up experiments and materials characterisation skills from various scientists and perform day to day laboratory work with minimum supervision
  • Able to design, collect data, analyse and compile technical reports
  • Prepare a presentation for technical results sharing with stakeholders
  • Work on industry problems statements and together with various scientists to work out a solution for industry partners
  • Contact suppliers to purchase active cosmetic ingredients for research purposes
  • Identify, select, discuss and work with vendors with limited supervision Job

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of cosmetics science will be preferred
  • Passionate & initiative to analyse, innovate, with a growth mindset
  • Good team player, fast learner and ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization
