Application Support Analyst ($2.5k - $3.5k)


Min. Education Level:

• IT Technical Certification

• Polytechnic Diploma / Degree in computer related studies

Skills:

• IT Administration, Troubleshooting Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Strong Communications Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Writing Skills, Team Player

• 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduate will be considered for junior position)

Job Descriptions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Track progress and provide updates to management

• Ability to offer solutions on business requirements to technical requirements and implementations

• Administration knowledge on Windows and Linux Servers

• Knowledge of Cloud platform

• Basic knowledge in Apache, PostgreSQL, GraphDB servers

• Basic experience in Java and PHP Applications, web services and SQL

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Linux Scripting will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Business Owner and Product Delivery Managers in the development and rolling out of new system features & services.

• Assist Business Owners in managing the internal stakeholders as part of change management for the system to improve business user satisfaction level.

• Support Whole-of-Government(WoG)-wide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Security & Governance efforts (e.g. Account Review Process, follow-up for security testing & IT audit, etc.) related to the system.

• Supporting Product Owner to ensure smooth integration with 3rd party systems on the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).

• Supporting the system operations during the migration process, follow up on timely resolution of issues faced at various agency’s sites.

• Work with supporting vendors to ensure proper day-to-day functioning and operations of the system and its related IT services.

• Work closely with the Facility Managed (FM) team on troubleshooting of issues related to the system, ensure rectification (by FM) and proper closure of problems according to stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Coordinate the deployment of software enhancements, upgrades & patches to ensure applications compatibility on system.
