We have produced the inaugural ‘Do You See Me?’ storytelling showcase for 2 consecutive years in 2022 and 2023, had garnered media feature in both Singapore and Asia.  We are looking for a Media Production – Video Content Creator intern for this exciting role to scale our impact.

Internship Role: Media Production – Video Content Creator
This is part of NYC Youth Corp Civic Internship program.
Only applicable for Singaporean and PR, 18-25 years old.

Job Description

About The Role:
The intern will collaborate with our Marketing & Communications team, work closely to create compelling video content, engage with various stakeholders from varied causes ranging from Mental Health, PWDs, Arts & Heritage and Seniors to tell their stories to impact and shift mindset.

Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking individuals with a creative mindset and impressive storytelling skills. The ideal candidate should have experience proficiency in videography and editing. Portfolio samples are encouraged, and interested students can send them along with their resumes to apply for this position.Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Capture videos and photos during live events, interviews and workshops.

  2. Develop storyboards, podcasts, design messages to get buy-in for stakeholders.

  3. Assist in video editing and production, create content, and publish across various social media platforms.

  4. Participate in strategic planning and marketing brainstorming sessions.

  5. Support other administrative tasks as needed. 

Requirement:

  1. Creative, resourceful, positive working attitude.

  2. Strong knowledge in camera operations, videography equipment and audio-recording set up for great audio quality, lighting and photography. (process own videography and audio equipments will be highly preferred)

  3. Strong knowledge in video editing software such as Davinci, Premiere Pro, Capcut

  4. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be added advantage.

Learning Objectives & Outcomes:

  1. To be exposed to live event coverage, including capturing videos and photos during events, interviews, and workshops.

  2. To be able to develop storyboards, podcasts, and communication messages that align with stakeholder engagement goals.

  3. To apply video editing skills and produce multimedia content for various social media platforms.

  4. To participate in strategic planning discussions and marketing brainstorming sessions to support campaign development.

  5. To learn how to manage the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to publishing across digital channels.

  6. To gain knowledge in administrative support for marketing and event management tasks.
