What we are looking for:
Hydroleap is seeking a Strategy and Finance Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategy and finance related projects within Hydroleap. They should possess exceptional analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We value individuals who are passionate about clean technology and sustainability, and who have the drive to contribute to the strategic decision-making process and financial growth of a rapidly expanding company. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
As Singapore is an English-speaking country, fluency in written and spoken English are required. Training and feedback will be provided.
What you will be doing:
Sales Development Support and Market Research/Analysis
- Ongoing support to business development team on managing dashboards and enhancing dashboards to align our forecast
- Consolidate and align our business development stack that includes proposals development, customer information pack and others
Operation and Supply Chain:
- Partner with Strategy and Finance Intern colleagues on project initiatives
- Review our current Supply chain practice and co-develop a long term supply chain strategy Identify bottlenecks in current operations and suggest process improvements to handle increased volume including streamlining of records management
- Analyze the supply chain for cost efficiencies, risk management, and sustainability.
- Support in the development of a vendor qualification strategy and vendor pricing database build up
Long term Value Plan Finance Strategy Development:
- Develop KPI dashboard for monthly performance reviews.
- Automate reporting for monthly financial performance reviews
- Support and review our departments workflows and digitize the workflows through internal systems where possible including records management streamlining to improve operational efficiencies
- Assist in enhancing budget templates to help with monitoring of our performance
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess the profitability of various business units and initiatives
- Develop Grant support landscape and develop a long term strategy
