HWA International School – Physics Teacher (IB)

HWA international school was established in 2006 as the Chinese International School in Singapore, and continues to uphold the global vision that integrates Eastern and Western values, through the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy. Our renowned Bilingual and Bicultural program has created an impact on the education system within the IB framework in South East Asia in the last decade. HWA, as an IB school has groomed enablers that have successfully moved on to higher educations. In our continuing effort in impact and bring learning to a higher level, we are seeking professionally trained educators to join HWA's family.  

Teaching duties

• Teach classes as per the timetable scheduled by the school.
• Design and conduct Physics-related experiments and activities.
• Co-teaching with TOK/EE teacher as and when required.
• Assessment and curriculum planning.
• Documentation management via Managebac.

Relationships

• Develop trust and effective relationships with all students in the classes and their parents.
• Establish supportive, collaborative, and positive working relationships with all other members of staff.
• Become a positive presence across the whole school and a representative of it within its wider community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the related field is preferred.
• Curriculum development knowledge is required.
• Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• IB training preferred.
