Intern, Upstream Process Development
About the Role:
Hummingbird Bioscience is seeking an Intern to provide support to our Upstream Process Development team for our robust pipeline and growing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing cell culture in shake flask and bioreactor handling
- Assist in performing cell culture analysis with Cedex Hires viability analyzer, Nova flex metabolic analyzer and Cedex Bio Analyzer
- Assist in pilot scale processing 50L and 250L single use bioreactor systems including depth filtration harvest
- Support in protocol /technical documentation writing
- Able to record data accurately and legibly
- Training will be provided
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a biology, biochemistry or related course
- Knowledge of cell culture, basic laboratory experience
- Good communications and inter-personal skills
