Job Description

About the Role

Hummingbird Bioscience is seeking a HR Intern who will be taking the ownership of all the recruitment and university liaison process. An organized and meticulous initiator who can work independently and also a team player who is committed and able to contribute to the HR department. The successful applicant will join and contribute to a fast-paced team with ample opportunity to grow with the company.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth recruitment and new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
  • Facilitate the HR and recruitment process from engagement to talent requisition through to offer generations via recruiting systems
  • Utilize recruitment tracking system for data entry, event management, reporting in a timely and accurate manner

Skills and Qualifications

  • Preferably an undergraduate in Human Resources/ Business Discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Service-oriented and committed to teamwork and excellence
  • Excellent team work
