Job Description

Opportunities:

  1. The full scope of accounting (the exact entities to be determined by your Immediate Superior) 

    • Financial accounting (“FA”) 
    • Operational accounting (“OA”) at the division level 
    • Data entry and preparation of all documentation relating to AR, AP, Cashbook & GL 
    • AR Credit Control 
    • Accruals and payments
    • Invoicing and receipts (includes follow up on overdue receivables) 
    • Month-end closing journals and Quarter-end closing 
    • Statements of Accounts & Reminder Letters to customers 
    • Fixed assets register & depreciation schedule 
    • Reconciliations – bank statements, OA to FA, Interco balances, clearing and recovering accounts, Interco and co-broke transactions 
    • Monthly schedules
    • Year-end audit – preparation of schedules and liaison with auditors 
    • Corporate tax – preparation of schedules and liaison with tax agents 
    • GST returns and liaison with tax authorities if required 
    • Employee claims processing and highlight exceptional patterns of claims to respective BLs
  2. Posting of transactions for Group Consolidation: 
    • Weekly Sales Summary 
    • Weekly Bank Balance Report 
    • Others when specified 
  3. Realize and practice the Group’s 6 core values. 
  4. Any other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by your Immediate Supervisor 
  5. Collaborate strongly with all groups in achieving Total Group’s objectives.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or any related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
