Job Description
About the role
Job Title: Internship – Quality Assurance (6-9 months)
Works closely with and have impact on: BPO of Symphony Project
Reports to: Project Managers
Function: Global QA
Work Location/Site: GHQ, Singapore
Role Overview
This role will collaborate closely with the Quality function and cross-functional project business partners/SMEs to support Project Symphony implementation and migration activities, including the transition and improvement activities of new electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) a cloud-based quality management system for HOYA Surgical Optics.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in performing validation duties to ensure software validation projects and corresponding deliverables adhere to current regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in performing legacy data review, preparation related activities before data migration / mapping.
- Assist in drafting procedures for system Go-Live.
- Actively contributing towards continuous improvement of the quality team by suggesting new ideas and promoting innovative culture through improving and optimizing the analysis of quality data and process workflows.
- Support with the required pre-migration and post-migration as well as improvement activities for the transition of legacy to new eQMS system for Singapore global headquarter.
- Participate in team activities of Quality Compliance department and initiatives related to the Symphony project.
- Duties as assigned by supervisor-in-charge.
Experience
- Some Quality system knowledge will be advantageous
Skills/Accreditations
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft office) essential (preferably with Macro knowledge)
Academic Qualifications
- Pursuing Diploma or Degree Preferably in Science or Engineering
