Company Profile

House of Ou Studios was founded by Eunice Olsen, and creates original content for Feature and Short Films, documentaries and short form online video.

It's flagship program WomenTalk TV, was nominated for an International Emmy Award in 2014 for Best Digital - Non Fiction, and recently awarded an Official Selection at the Raindance Film Festival. It's a short form online video program that champions women's empowerment, featuring everyday women in Asia that have either overcome adversity or empower others through their work. WomenTalk TV has earned awards at International Film Festivals for Best Short Documentary and Best Woman Filmmaker.

The other online video program, Tripvid was launched in May 2015 and is centred around travel. Within each destination covered, Tripvid shares experiences for food, fashion and fun based on what the locals do, and not just the popular places.

In addition, House of Ou Studios co-produced the first ever Singapore / Cambodia feature film production, 3.50, about the sex trafficking trade in Cambodia, and co-produced Last Night Inn with Glixstudios in Los Angeles, and has won several festival wreaths to date.

Job Description

The internship program at House of Ou Studios is a 3 month program that provides an option for conversion to a full time position after successful evaluation. During this internship program, you will experience through the line duties of a production assistant on live projects - from administration, research, project management, marketing, planning and co-ordination of shoots, the actual shoots itself, and distillation of information for post production editing.

In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn life skills such as communication, organisation of information, processes, and lateral thinking.

You do not need to have any prior experience in the field, it's all about the attitude. We look for people who are passionate, eager to learn, and hoping to make a difference in this world.
