We’re looking for a Financial & Business Strategy Intern to support our roadmap by helping shape pricing strategy, evaluate payment systems, and analyze key business metrics.
You’ll work closely with the Strategy and Product teams to build the financial foundation for scaling, making this a high-impact role for someone interested in startup finance, business modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Revenue Strategy
Finalize pricing models for Hethena’s annual subscription and add-on services
Evaluate market positioning and competitor pricing for reference
Support the development of scalable pricing frameworks for different user segments
Payments & Monetization Infrastructure
Research and compare online payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, local AU providers)
Conduct due diligence on transaction fees, compliance requirements, and integration needs
Provide recommendations for payment setup aligned with the product roadmap
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
Draft initial financial projections and unit economics for Milestone 2 revenue
Support revenue tracking models (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, CLTV, churn rate)
Help define and monitor KPIs tied to financial performance and growth targets
Performance & Partner Revenue Analysis
Track user acquisition costs across marketing channels
Analyze churn and repeat subscription behavior
Monitor commission revenue from partner referrals and bookings
Who We’re Looking For
Background in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel); experience with financial modeling is a plus
Familiarity with SaaS metrics (CAC, CLTV, MRR, etc.) or willingness to learn fast
Detail-oriented, with the ability to translate data into insights
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
