Hong Shin Builders Pte Ltd – Intern – Computer Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Computer Engineering Intern to assist in digitizing manual processes and integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, develop automation tools, and implement AI models to streamline business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Analysis & Digitization

• Analyze existing manual/repetitive processes (e.g., data entry, reporting, approvals).

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workflows.

• Propose and implement digital solutions (automation, web apps, databases).

2. Automation & AI Integration

• Develop Python scripts or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools to automate tasks.

• Build AI/ML models (predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision) where applicable.

• Integrate chatbots, document processing AI, or recommendation systems into workflows.

3. Development & Deployment

• Design and deploy low-code/no-code solutions (Power Apps, Zapier) for quick digitization.

• Develop web-based dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time monitoring.

• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable AI deployment.

4. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work with IT, operations, and business teams to align solutions with needs.

• Document workflows, code, and AI model performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Programming: Python (Pandas, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch), JavaScript, SQL. Automation Tools: UiPath, Power Automate, Selenium. AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with NLP, predictive modeling, LLMs (GPT, Gemini). Cloud & Databases: AWS/Azure, Firebase, PostgreSQL. Problem-Solving: Ability to translate business needs into tech solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OCR tools (Tesseract, AWS Textract).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker).

• Previous projects involving process automation or AI deployment.
