I am Laura and I am 28 years old. I left my career in corporate sales 2 months ago to start a personal project called Honestly, I. This project is inspired by my self-discovery journey and a desire to live a life more honestly. This means acting in truth and integrity with other people and most importantly, with myself. Like attracts like. As I embark on this journey, I want to share the connections I have made with people/brands/businesses who share the same desires and goals. It is my mission to help others to be seen and accepted for speaking their truths. In turn, they can start to see and accept others around them. Imagine the ripple effects of that!

Honestly, I is a new way of connecting with people.
It is a movement for authentic Human-to-Human connection. It is a collection of vulnerable stories made up of life-long struggles with fears, trauma, failures, and shame. By bringing down walls and exposing ourselves, we let others see us for who we are. Finally, we get to experience the true and deep connection we are made for; to be seen and accepted, to see, and to accept others. Establishing a real connection gives us a greater opportunity to serve the world.

But we trust people that we have a connection with. Honestly, I help businesses to ditch traditional corporate branding tactics. We humanize their brand. We draw the "Honestly, I" story out and build a bridge between brand mission and customers. When customers see real value and it is good for them (and everybody else), they become loyal. Trust increases revenue. Building a strong and solid community gives businesses the leverage to scale and provide even more value. It's a win-win situation for both businesses and the community they serve. That is how powerful an authentic Human-to-Human connection is.

Honestly, I is a new media/content production/ publishing platform.
With my background in sales and business strategy, I am lacking in the creative side of things. I need someone to compliment me with the boldness to explore contemporary or new media - social media, podcasts, streaming videos, blogging, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and digital content distribution (ad sales).
I am not a big company and this is a humble project. However, this means, you get alot of autonomy to let your creativity run wild. I encourage making necessary mistakes as part of yours (and mine) learning curve. This is a great opportunity for you to paint a blank canvas. If you need to work with clear step-by-step instructions with a structured work environment, this may not be a suitable role for you. You have to like brain-storming for ideas, trying new things, approaching bold/provocative/controversial topics.
