We are seeking an innovative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is a digital native, deeply engaged with social media trends, and loves creating engaging and original content. You will primarily focus on developing and executing content strategies for our Instagram Reels and TikTok channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit engaging, high-quality video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Stay updated with the latest trends on both platforms and suggest creative ways to incorporate them into our strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaign goals and company messaging.
- Analyze performance metrics to understand the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and strategies.
- Assist in managing the content calendar for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a brand-consistent voice.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma / degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with Instagram Reels and TikTok, including knowledge of current trends and best practices.
- Experience in creating and editing short-form video content.
- Creative thinker with an eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of social media metrics and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in social media management is a plus.
