Technical Skills and Competencies to Learn:
● Working in a Team using different skills that are needed to make any project a success
● Learning different modern project management tools (Jira, Fredcamp, GitLab, bitbucket) for effective project management in global teams that work in a different timezone
● Exposure to modern and cutting edge technologies like Laravel, Ruby on Rails, and cloud
● Working with different technical teams and business managers. Translating all business problems in technical solutions and learning how to build business solutions with teams
● Technical documentation and planning for different charts (Gantt chart, technology, and architectural charts) and diagrams (ER diagram and Data dictionary) and reports (Security & CSR report)
Qualifications:
● Degree/ Poly Diploma/ ITE Certification in Computer Science or related field.
● All Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for the program, with the
exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead.
● Exposure to at least one Web programming language and SQL Database and basic Knowledge of one web framework is preferred.
● Cloud server knowledge of Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud is a plus.
● Able to solve problems and manage ambiguity by use of common sense and basic business acumen.
● Ability to work in an independent, fast-paced, startup environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity.
● Enthusiastic about mobile apps and websites in general tech.
● Always looking to improve User experience and make things better. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
● A resourceful problem solver, with a strong sense of ownership
● Highly organized, able to prioritize and create order in chaos
● Full of drive, with a bias towards action.
